Instructions

Candidates seeking admission in M.phil programme they should write the common entrance Examination and score minimum of 10 marks.

A. Guidelines to fill the application and Submission in Online

  1. All communication will be sent only to the Registered Email ID.
  2. In the application, the * marked item is mandatory.
  3. Required valid Email ID and Mobile number
  4. Recent passport size colour photograph in JPEG image file format of size 30kb.
  5. Other University candidates should fill the eligibility certificate Number and Date in the application form Sl.No: 20
  6. Applicants need to pay the prescribed fee by On-Line mode only.
    1. Full Time
      • General – Rs.600/-
      • SC/SCA/ST – Rs. 300/- (One Time)
    2. Part Time
      • All - Rs.600/-
  7. Once the payment is successful, you are able to take the printout of the filled application.
    8. Last date to submit the filled in application: 22.09.2023

B. Submission of filled Application in Colleges

  1. The filled in Application form should be submitted to the Principal of the college concerned.
  2. Separate application should be submitted for each programme.
  3. Provide address with Pincode to which communication must be sent
  4. Attested Xerox of recently obtained community certificate from Revenue Officer of Government of Tamil Nadu not lower in rank than a Deputy Tahsildar must be enclosed (in case of SC/ST, BC, MBC/DNC candidates).
  5. Give particulars regarding Educational qualifications. Attested copies of 10th, +2, UG, PG mark statements, UG & PG degree certificates and common entrance test (July 2023) mark statement must be enclosed.
  6. Candidates who have passed their qualifying examination from other Universities should obtain the eligibility certificate from Periyar University and submit the same at the time of admission. To obtain the eligibility certificate, candidates are directed to contact the office of the Registrar.
  7. Give details relevant to M.Phil Degree Course to which admission is needed.
  8. Get recommendation of the Head of the Institution in case of employed.
  9. The following certificates in original should be enclosed along with application by the Polytechnics/ Higher Secondary/ High School Teachers.
    1. A Certificate from the Director of Technical Education /District Educational Officer stating that the polytechnics/Higher Secondary/High Schools where the teacher is employed has been recognized by the Government.
    2. A Certificate from the Headmaster/Headmistress/Principal of the school where the teacher is employed stating that the teacher is handling classes for Higher Secondary Students (+2).
    3. A Service Certificate indicating the date of appointment, nature of appointment (i.e., whether Permanent or temporary or leave vacancy etc.) from the Head of the Institution concerned.
    4. The Service certificate should contain whether the candidate is handling classes for Higher Secondary/ High School students etc. With service particulars in each category.
